Hear – Obey – See

Have you ever read a passage of scripture and thought I know what that means because it has been preached on so many times you cannot hear what it is saying? I was reading Revelation 3:20 today, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” This verse has been preached in an evangelism way so many times, I have to push past all the sermons I have heard to hear what the Lord is saying in this verse. Do you have that challenge when you read the Bible? John 3:16 is another one, it is like we just read over it like we know what it means because it has been quoted so many times. With a bible filled with thousands of verses, I wonder why preachers stick to only certain ones to preach on? Not the point, but it was a thought.

Reading the Bible we must remember it was a scroll, it was not chapters and verses, so when I was reading Revelation 3:20 today, the Lord said, this verse is tied to Revelation 4:1-2 “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things. Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne.” Revelation 3:20 speaks of a door at which the voice of God is knocking and those who hear His voice, open the door, then Revelation 4:1-2 tells us what they see once the door is opened because they heard and responded. They hear the voice and they see the throne and One sitting on it.

We are a people that are to hear the voice of God, obey what we hear and when we do we will see Him who sits on the throne. Once you see Him your life changes forever. It is no longer about fame, fortune, possessions, or needing people’s attention or affirmation. Once you see Him, nothing else has the ability to satisfy you like He does. Many people are living behind a closed door, they have heard Him but they have not seen Him, because they do nothing with what they hear. Obedience opens the door for you to see the One who is speaking, these verses spoken to a church not to an unbeliever. Hear, obey and see, it will change your life forever.

Vengeance Is Mine Says The Lord

What we tolerate will dominate! Jesus gave us authority over the earth realm, what we bind is bound, what we loose is loosed, therefore, what we tolerate will dominate. We determine what has access to the earth realm, we welcome it or we deny it access. Remember Matthew 16:18 what you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, what you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Oh what authority we have been given, no wonder we have been deceived into believing we have no control over what goes on in the earth realm. The enemy knows the word of God, the promises of God and the authority God has given us better than we do, so he twists it to his advantage and tells us we are powerless.

The Lord spoke to me very clearly in prayer this morning and said, “Vengeance is mine says the Lord!” I asked Him what He wanted from me with this statement and all I kept hearing was, “Vengeance is Mine says the Lord!” I look up this statement and it is found in both Old and New Testament in a variety of places, but first it is in Deuteronomy 32:35, 40-41 “Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, In due time their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is near, And the impending things are hastening upon them. …Indeed, I lift up My hand to heaven, And say, as I live forever, If I sharpen My flashing sword, And My hand takes hold on justice, I will render vengeance on My adversaries, And I will repay those who hate Me.” It is also found in Psalm 94 and Romans 12.

The devil is a ruthless foe who kills the innocent, tortures the adolescent, attacks the adults, destroys marriages, afflicts our health, oppresses our finances and ultimately wants to kill our spirit, soul and body. He is our enemy and we must stop tolerating his ministry in our lives, schools, families, churches, communities and nation. How do we do this, we agree with God and say, Vengeance is yours Lord, deal with your enemes, render Vengeance on your adversaries, we welcome your judgement, your repayment upon those who have sought to destroy us, we are your children, help us Lord, we need you to intervene in our nation. Loose Vengeance and bind up wickedness we pray.

You Are Powerful

Apostolic builders and prophetic narrative shifters arise now! This is what the Lord spoke to me about in prayer this morning. We as believers in Jesus Christ have been given authority over the earth realm. Therefore, what we speak is established. The narrative we speak is the narrative that operates in the nations. If we want to see righteousness exalt the nations, we must change our narrative as the voices of authority in the land. Our words are very powerful. When “prophets” prophesy the news we establish the narrative of the news, but when Prophets, prophesy what the kingdom of God is saying, we establish the on earth as it is in heaven reality.

We have been dumbed down to believe we do not have power, we do not have authority, we do not have access to make any real changes, that is not true. We have been told we don’t mean very much to the meta narrative, that is not true. The narrative is established based on what believers are saying. If we echo the news, we establish the news; if we echo the word of God, we establish the words of God. My friends, you are the temple of the Holy Spirit on earth, you carry power, you carry authority, your words establish narratives in the earth.

On Saturday night the prophetic voice that was speaking said she learned in quantum physics that the speed of light is a law of creation, light moves very quickly, but then she said, but darkness does not move at all. Darkness is stationary, light is movement. Therefore, the light overcomes the darkness because the darkness does not move, it settles in, but does not move. The only reason the darkness increases is because light has not penetrated it. Our words are light, they are life and they move with great speed. If we want to see darkness decrease, we must shine our light for it has great speed and overcomes darkness, which is stationary.

Apostolic builders arise and shine! Prophetic narrative shifters arise and speak! It is time for the body of Christ to stop talking about the stationary darkness and to speak so the speed of light which is the words of God coming out of you can overcome the darkness. You are powerful, speak!!!

Jesus Is Ruling The Nations

The days of weak, passive, ineffective, tolerating Christianity is over. I know it is still lingering, but it is over. The church has been so dumbed down by the voices of the enemy, poor theology, and multiple losses. This has created experiential expositions of scripture, meaning if I don’t speak in tongues it’s okay, because it is my experience. If I pray for healing and they don’t get healed then healing is not for today. If I don’t work, God can’t provide for me financially. Our experiences have determined our biblical reality and it is just not true. The enemy has thrown the church in a pot of warm water and has been slowly turning up the heat year after year, so now we talk weak, we act powerless and we live poor. No more!

The days of biblical truth are here. You shall know the the truth and ONLY the truth shall set you free. Not your experiences, not your doctrine, not your scientific worldview. Truth is where we find freedom. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, there is no other way to the Father but through Him. Truth is going to make us strong again. The church is coming back to the Truth about the Word of God and truth is strengthening the church. Truth is reminding us of who we are and whose we are. Jesus is not on the cross with nails in His hands, a spear in His side. He is not in hell wrestling with the devil. He is not in the grave. He is fully alive, He is seated at the right hand of God. He is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, and all seeing. Jesus is ruling the nations right now. No man or woman, deep state or Illuminati is in charge, Jesus Christ is ruling the nations. He is supreme over all.

Therefore, since Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, presently right now, we can know for certain that Proverbs 14:19 is happening and will continue to happen, “The evil will bow down before the good, And the wicked at the gates of the righteous.” Church, you have been given power to tread on serpents and scorpions (Mark 16), there is no reason to be afraid of the dark, the increasing darkness, or the minions of the evil one. Jesus has the keys of Death and Hades, the government is on His shoulders, fear not church, righteousness is exalting the nations again and the wicked are bowing at the feet of Jesus. You will begin to see it more and more, get ready, the church is about to flex her muscles because her Bridegroom is ruling with His scepter of iron over the nations.

The Gavel Is Raised

On Sunday morning right before I woke up I heard the words, “Court is in session”. This statement was tied to Daniel 7:26-27 which says, “The court will sit for judgment, and his dominion will be taken away, annihilated and destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.” I wrote about this on Monday.

Now this morning before I wake up I see a gavel in the hand of God and it is lifted up, suspended in mid air and I wake up, it is 5:30am. I immediately begin to pray in the spirit and I think this must be tied to Daniel 7 and the court is in session word I got on Sunday. I sit down to read in Daniel 7 and the Holy Spirit says, what time did you wake up, I said, 5:30 and the Holy Spirit says, Daniel 5:30 “That same night Belshazzar the Chaldean king was slain.”

Both chapters have to do with God rendering a judgment against wicked kings/kingdoms, but the Lord and I have history with Daniel 5, for this is the very declaration the Lord had me make when I was on Jekyll Island last August. As I am reading Daniel 5 and seeing the gavel in the hand of God raised up, I know He is about to render a verdict, but which one. The Lord has me look up the name Darius, for that is who the kingdom was given to once Belshazzar was dead and Darius was the king during the time of Nehemiah. Nehemiah was the one who rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem and immediately the Holy Spirit speaks to me.

The court is in session, the gavel is in the hand of God and the Lord is about to judge the debt based banking system and in a day it will die, so the building banking system can be revealed. Suddenly one system will fall and the revealing of another will be seen, but the new is for building nations, while the old was for destroying nations. The gavel is in the hand of God and it is raised up because court is in session. Things are moving fast. Watch April.

Generational Legacy

People love individual legacy, but God loves generational legacy. People want everything to happen in their lifetime, but God looks down through many lifetimes when He makes something happen. Once we are able to see generationally, then we will comprehend things biblically. Generational legacy is biblical theology. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, generational legacy.

The church has preached individual legacy, so we think everything is about us, going to happen to us, for us and in us. Our imagery is a motorcycle theology, but God has a train theology. We may see things differently, based on the car we are in on the train, but we need the voice of those who are older than us and younger than us, because they see things differently than us. If we cut off the older generation as though they have no value to add because we are so “advanced”, we miss what they see from their car on the train. God is restoring generational legacy to the church and with this restoration will come a renovation of our theology.

There is always a why behind the what that God is doing. We are living in a day in which a major renovation is taking place in the nations. If we hang onto our opinions, our theology, our thoughts, as though we have nothing else to learn, we are going to miss what God is doing in our generation. This goes for every age group.

We are living in an appointed time moment with God, this is His doing, HIs timing, His plan. Psalm 102:13 says it best, “You will arise and have compassion on Zion; For it is time to be gracious to her, For the appointed time has come.” Why is God doing this now? “So the nations will fear the name of the LORD And all the kings of the earth Your glory.” (Psalm 102:15). And the the result will be, generational legacy. “This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.” (Psalm 102:18). God is doing something generationally not just individually.

Calming The Storm

Did you know there were two men who slept in a boat in the midst of a storm? Jesus did in Luke 8 and Jonah did in Jonah 1. Both men entered a boat and fell asleep and both men were awakened by experienced sailors and fishermen who knew the power of the sea, but did not know the power of God. Jonah and Jesus, when they were awakened in the midst of the storm, calmed the sea, for both knew the God who had the power of both land and water. Jesus did it with a spoken word and Jonah did it with a prophetic act, he was thrown overboard into the sea and when he was the sea calmed down. I love how the Old Testament stories parallel the New Testament stories. It shows consistency, it shows authority and it shows authenticity.

As I was reading about Jonah this morning, the Lord began to show me how our disobedience creates storms in other people’s lives. Being an American, we are indoctrinated with the idea of individualism, as though what I say or do does not affect anyone else. We do not realize how interconnected we really are with people and how our obedience to the voice of God or disobedience to His voice actually creates storms in the lives of other people. Jonah 1:12 says it this way, “Pick me up and throw me into the sea. Then the sea will become calm for you, for I know that on account of me this great storm has come upon you.” Jonah knew the storm the other sailors were encountering was not because of something they did, but because of something he did not do, which was obey God.

The kingdom of God is a community of the likes we don’t fully understand, yet. We are a body and we are interconnected to one another. What we do personally affects others corporately. What we do nationally affects others internationally. What we do either calms or creates storms in other people’s lives. When a storm rises, it is not supposed to be “normal” it is supposed to be “abnormal” henceforth, why we want to calm it. May we be quick to obey the voice of God, quick to repent and quick to humble ourselves so the storm calms in the lives of those we are doing life, community and family with. Peace feels so much better than a storm. Our obedience, repentance and humility declares to the storm, peace be still!

COURT IS IN SESSION

It was right before sunrise yesterday, Resurrection Sunday morning, and I hear as I am waking up, “COURT IS IN SESSSION”. I keep hearing the phrase “COURT IS IN SESSION”. It was like I saw it as a sign on the door of a courtroom, but I heard it loud and clear. I thought what an odd word to receive on Resurrection Sunday, it did not feel like it fit the day, so I sat on it all day yesterday. Little did I know, it was a Resurrection word.

“COURT IS IN SESSION” is not a direct quote in scripture, but the idea of it is obvious, predominantly in Daniel 7:21-22 “I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom.” When I read this, I knew God was passing judgment on the ruling system that as been overpowering us. When the Judge of all the earth is saying “COURT IS NOW IN SESSION”, He is telling us, He is rendering a verdict against our enemy and for us. We are about to be recompensed for pain and suffering.

Daniel 7:26-27 says, “The court will sit for judgment, and his dominion will be taken away, annihilated and destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.” The church has put this kind of language in the sweet bye and bye, but Jesus said, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God is bringing His kingdom to earth. The COURT IS IN SESSION.

Now to stamp this with the possible reason why God spoke this on Resurrection Sunday can be found in Romans 8:31-33 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.” My friends, COURT IS IN SESSION and God the Judge, Jesus the Advocate and Holy Spirit the Communicator is rendering a verdict on behalf of the saints. Everything is about to change.

The Reveal To Heal

I was in prayer this morning and the Lord began to speak to me saying, “I reveal in order to heal, not to shame, condemn or expose.” This word came with strength, not force, it came with a stamp of truth that He wants us to understand, because so often we fear the reveal, not knowing it is happening in order to heal. The Lord wants to reveal things to us about us so we can be healed, but how often do we blame someone else, rather than look at ourselves? It is easier to point the finger than it is to look inside ourselves a little deeper.

I believe we are in a time of revealing, God is revealing to us things in us He wants to heal, for if we are not healed, we will perpetuate patterns internally even when things changes externally. The Lord is revealing many things, but many cannot see what He is revealing, because they don’t realize He is doing it as a sign of massive healing. If we resist the reveal, we will never heal. This is personal, communal, regional, national and international. No one is being left out of the reveal God is doing right now, but many are resisting.

We resist the truth because we don’t realize the truth is not being revealed to condemn, shame or embarrass us, but to heal us as individuals, as families, as communities and as countries. Remember, God is Light and there is no darkness in Him at all. He see’s everything, He knows everything and He is revealing things that are dark to us, by bringing them into the Light for Light heals that is why it reveals.

God is revealing things in our generation about the nations we did not know. Many are resisting the truth that is coming out because they don’t realize God is doing this not to condemn our nation, but to heal our land. This is an earth wide reveal, in order for a healing of the likes we have never known before. Our job is not to point fingers and get angry at what is revealed, but rejoice in the reveal knowing that it is to heal. God is healing the nations and it is seen in what He is revealing. I invite to see the reveal as evidence of the God who has come to heal.

Historic Moment

We are living in a holiday season, today is Good Friday, Sunday is Easter or Resurrection Day. Churches all over the nation have signs up saying come to our church for Easter service, we have stuff for the kids to do, bring the whole family. The stores are filled with baskets, candy and lots of spring colors and flowers to buy in order to make this season special. I love holiday seasons, but seasons are easy to recognize for they are marketed so well, especially in America. What is challenging for most people to recognize is not a “season” but a divine moment in history.

Jesus said, “In the morning, there will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening. You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you are unable to discern the signs of the times?” (Matthew 16:3) On Good Friday in AD33, just like today, there was a lack of discernment about the signs of the times. Jesus Christ, the son of God, incarnate, in flesh, was standing before them, but they could not see Him, they did not realize their hour of His visitation. They were living history at that moment and most of them missed it. May I propose to you, we are living in similar significant times right now and most people can’t see it, don’t realize it and yet it is manifesting right in front of us all.

Hebrews 11:3 says, “By means of faith we perceive that the material universe and the God appointed ages of time were equipped and fitted by God’s word for the purpose for which they were intended.” We are living not in a season that is marketed well, but in a God appointed time that was planned long before we were born. Can you perceive by faith the day and the hour in which we live? Can you see the signs all around us of this historic hour in which we are alive? We are living in a transition of the likes that will be talked about in history books. We are alive for such a time as this. We were created for this very hour, this very day. I pray you have eyes to see and ears to hear the day of visitation in which we live for it is like nothing we have ever seen before.

Jesus is not on a cross, He is not in a tomb, He is seated at the right hand of God and He is ruling the nations from a throne of which righteousness and justice are its foundation (Psalm 97). We are in a marketed season right now, enjoy it, but the bigger narrative is we are in a historic moment and this is no time to sleep, for the day is upon us and we were born for such a time as this.
