A couple months ago the Lord spoke to me to decree and prophesy three things over a very specific location. I went to that location and did that very thing. Two weeks later, the head of that house told me of debt cancellation that happened. Now this morning the Lord is having me lay hands on a certain house and make the same decrees and prophesies; the same three things I did at the other location. While I did it over the house the Lord told me to do it over I sensed the Lord said I was to decree it and prophesy it over everyone of you as well. So I decree and I prophesy to you my dear friend…
History, current reality and legacy, the God who was, who is and who is to come! We reveal our understanding of abundance when we think tri-dimensionally. History is an abundance of stories that teach us lessons we need to live in our current reality. When we honor history, we are accessing an abundance of wisdom, truth, and revelation. It is waiting for us to access it for our benefit, but if we refuse to access it, we are cutting ourselves off from abundance. We carry more history in our DNA that any of us realize, we are carrying generations that have gone before us in our current reality. Hebrews 11:39-40 says, “Those who went before us did not receive the fullness of the promise, because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect”. History meeting current reality. You are blessed if you understand the history that brought you to this current reality.
In like fashion you are blessed if you think, prepare and invest in legacy. Thinking abundantly, accessing abundance is not just for you in your lifetime, it is for the generations that will come after you. Legacy is about thinking abundantly for those coming after me. Generations of people are going to live after we die, we will join the realm of history once we leave our current reality, but what type of legacy will you leave? I want generations after to me to not wage war the way I have had to, I want to leave a legacy of peace, prosperity, integrity, authenticity, beauty. When we think legacy we are operating in abundance, but when we think we are the final generation on earth, then we reveal our poverty, for we will not plan to leave behind a blessing for our legacy.
The God who was (history), who is (current reality) and who is to come (legacy) is a God of abundance and He is preparing for future generations long beyond our current reality. We must think legacy, longevity, and prosperity, not for us alone but for those who will come after us, for we are but a vapor, but He is eternal and there are many coming after us. May we not be remembered as the ones who wanted out of here, so we just kept ourselves busy, but may we be remembered as ones that occupied, invested, and prepared for those coming after us. Abundance is thinking historically, current reality and legacy.
This morning my You Tube subscribers list caught my attention when I read “M4.7 strikes Los Angeles California at old oil fields of Carson, CA”. Hearing of an earthquake in California is not surprising, but hearing that it struck at OLD OIL FIELDS, this made me stand up and take notice.
A few years back the Lord sent me to Black Gold Park near Tulsa, OK for a prophetic adventure in which I was told to take an arrow and strike the ground. I did as I was told and later evidence came forth in newspaper articles that America was one of the larger oil producers in the world. I thought that was the end of that. Then today, when I read this, I remembered that prophetic adventure, along with other ones I took all over the country to re-dig the old wells of revival. One revival well was in Los Angeles, CA at Azusa Street.
Prayers may take months, years or even decades to answer, but when God answers them or sends a message like this to encourage us, that OLD OIL FIELDS are being shaken, it’s just a sign that makes you wonder at it’s prophetic significance.
I know many intercessors have been striking the ground in prayer for many years in this nation, and i am honored to join with your voices. Let’s keep striking the ground, let’s keep praying, let’s keep crying out for this nation, our prayers are not going unnoticed in the ear of God. One day, probably sooner than we realize, oil fields will spring forth. But for now, is it possible, this is a statement from heaven, as Feast of Tabernacles is about to begin? This feast happened during the Olive Oil harvest! Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.
The day in which we live has taught me how to decode mysteries. Many times things are hidden in plain sight, but our untrained eye cannot see it. It is not that we are ignorant, it is that we have not been taught how to dicipher the language being used. If you have ever been to a foriegn country or heard a foreign language, you can stand there and listen but be clueless as to what is being said. Then another person who knows that language can hear it and know exactly what is being said. The apostle Paul alludes to this in his discourse on speaking in tongues versus prophesying in church when he says, “There are, perhaps, a great many kinds of languages in the world, and no kind is without meaning. If then I do not know the meaning of the language, I will be to the one who speaks a barbarian, and the one who speaks will be a barbarian to me.” (1 Cor. 14:9-10) If you don’t know the language being spoken, you can’t know the message being sent.
When we read our Bibles, there are many messages being sent, that we don’t receive, because we are not trained in the language of the Word. The Bible though written in our native language, still holds messages that are mysteries to most, not because they are ignorant, but because they are untrained. When untrained people teach doctrines to others, without knowing what message is being spoken, it hinders the learners future progress, unless they remain teachable and open to the truth that will set them free. It is no wonder James exhorts us by saying, “Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment.” (James 3:1) and Jesus Himself warned against false teachers in all four gospels.
In a social media world, in a celebrity Christianity culture, those with trained ears hear messages that are clearly not Biblically accurate, but hold their tongue, because as DaRon Maughon said so eloquently today, there is so much noise, the truth falls on deaf ears. But this is changing, the hunger for truth is growing and as the mysteries of God’s word begin to manifest through the voices of God’s mouthpieces, the people will have a choice to make, will they remain attached to a doctrine of man or cling onto the revelation of Jesus Christ that will set them free? The Mount Carmel showdown is about who’s report will you believe and for me the answer is simple, I will believe the report of the Lord, even if it turns upside down all of my theology.
Prophetic words can be trusted, stood on and fulfilled if they come from God. Prophetic words that we make up in our own sanctified imaginations do not have that guarantee. For me personally, when God speaks to me there is always a Bible verse that will be connected to it, so I know that was not just me but it really was Him. Years ago the Lord spoke to me about the abortion industry in America. He said it would be destroyed to such a measure it would be remembered no more. I remember clearly, Him showing me the image of the mighty eagle in the game Angry Birds that I used to play, where the mighty eagle would come in and the wind from the eagles wings would destroy all the pigs on that level. This wind from the mighty eagle’s wings would wipe everything out in one fail swoop. The Lord showed me this picture in my mind’s eye and said, “This is how I am going to wipe out the abortion industry in America.” I saw this mighty eagle come across the USA from East to West with no trace of it remaining once this wind blew.
I had received this vision while on my threshing floor, praying, back in Kansas City, now today, moments ago, I am reading Revelation 6:13 and the Lord says “This is your verse for that prophetic word I gave you.” Revelation 6:13 “The stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.” The presence of God wafted into the room and I can still at this moment sense His presence. My friends, I tell you with confidence the abortion industry in America will be wiped out with a great wind of God and it will be remembered no more. It will come from the East, sweep across the nation and be cast out to sea off the West coast. Watch for it, for it shall come to pass, because God said it, and now I have a verse on it, so I can stand on this word.
The other reason we need Biblical backing for our prophetic words is because when people argue with us about what God says, it’s not your fight, for its not your words, your message, your idea, your declaration. Prophets of God are just town criers, they hear the message of the King and share it with the people, they have no opinion, no agenda, no need for your approval for they didn’t say it so they don’t take it personally if you don’t like it. Oh God that you would raise up Biblical prophets in our day and age!
The need for something new comes out of the current whatever, being old or outdated. When our bodies get old, the Lord promises us a new body according to 1 Corinthians 15. When our car is old, we buy a new car. When our computer is outdated and can no longer be updated, we buy a new one. When a wineskin was old, they would create a new one. The old and outdated are two reasons we get something new.
When sin got old in our life, we cried out to Jesus and He gave us a new life. When we recognize something is old or outdated, we replace it with something new. We have the need for a new name, for our old name is old and outdated. Our name carries with it many memories and many mysteries. All believers became new when they got saved, but how many of us heard the new name we were given, so we could operate in the new identity we have been given and experience the new mysteries that come with that new name?
As I was reading Revelation 3 this morning, it says, “I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.” This is Jesus speaking to John in Revelation 3:12, I had never seen this before, but Jesus is given a new name with the coming of the new Jerusalem. Jesus is no longer the man hanging on a cross, He is the resurrected King and He is given a new name. As I read this, I sensed the presence of God in the room and I believe He wants to give us a new name. With the new name will come a new identity, a new mystery and a new joy. This new name does not carry with it all the old memories of your birth name. It is going to be new.
We all love getting a new car, a new house, a new job, but how many of us are asking the Lord to give us a new name? On my 25th anniversary of being a Christian, the Lord changed my name, He gave me a new name and I have lived from that name for 7 years now and my life has changed dramatically. A new name is what many of us need, more than a new car, a new vacation destination, or a new relationship, ask the Lord to give you a new name and watch how your life changes, for names are powerful.
If you can get past the roar of intimidation, you will be able to see the toothless, spineless, cowardly lion you are really up against. A strong store front is all he is, there is no substance to his claims, no ability to follow through with what he says. His weapon is words that intimidate, but if your not intimidated by him you can take authority over him, because greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world.
Becoming an overcomer means you have to engage in and win battles. So how do we overcome? Revelation 12:11 says, They overcame by the blood of the lamb…you must be born again to overcome by the blood. Staying under the blood through obedience to His word, forgiving others as you’ve been forgiven, this is how you overcome by the blood of the Lamb. They overcame by the word of their testimony…your testimony of how God delivered you, healed you, provided for you, the prophecies spoken over you, speak these things out loud to yourself and others, this is how you overcome. And they loved their lives not even unto death…you overcome by being fearless in the face of the enemy, even the enemy called death. Fearlessness comes from faith in God, trust in God, hope in God. When you encounter the living resurrected Jesus (Revelation 1) you become fearless. This is how we overcome.
Church we have been given so much from the Lord. We have the blood of Jesus flowing in our veins and we can take communion as often as we want to remind us of this. We have 66 books that is a living book to remind us of God’s faithfulness to people and promises of faithfulness to us. Finally we have the promise of a resurrection for us after death (1 Cor. 15). We have nothing to fear and we have been given authority. We are loaded, all we must do is excercise our will to believe it is all true. We are overcomers.
In prayer this morning, the Lord and I were discussing the new era we have entered and as we were talking, I was writing down some of the things I see coming with this new era. You may add to this list with what you see coming, but this is what I see to get us started.
I see a fresh revelation of Jesus Christ coming.
I see the manifestation of the power of God coming.
I see the dismantling and destroying of the doctrines of men coming.
I see the stripping down of the church to its foundation, for the rebuilding of the church with the apostles and prophets.
I see preaching of the gospel of the kingdom.
I see Biblical literacy being restored to believers.
I see the Zadok priesthood (Ezekiel 44) in the pulpits of churches all over the world.
I see an awakening that births a reformation that transforms the nations.
I see worship being about God again.
I see health and wealth being commonplace among believers as a sign to unbelievers.
I see families functioning by design.
I see churches operating like the 12 tribes of Israel, distinctly unique but undeniably united.
I see the voice of God being crystal clear to hear and easy to obey.
I see a time of great peace and prosperity among the people.
I see the people of God planted in the house of God.
This is what I see, so this is what I have to say today. I would love to hear what you see, so I can listen to what you say.
If you’re neither intimidated nor impressed you will be unstoppable. We get paralyzed when we are intimidated by what we see and hear. We get energized when we are impressed with positions and prosperity. Being intimidated or impressed are both temporary “feelings” of being paralyzed or energized. These two things keep you on the roller coaster called the fear of man/the approval of man. But if you are neither intimidated nor impressed with “man” you will be unstoppable because you’re filled with the spirit of God; your eyes are fixed on the never changing God. Think about it, is God intimidated or impressed by anyone? No! He is God and when we look at God, dwell with the Lord, fellowship with the Holy Spirit we too become neither intimidated nor impressed by “man” for we are consumed with the Living God, our ALL CONSUMING FIRE (Hebrews 12:28). My friends you can be unstoppable in what God has called you to. Just remain in the place of abiding.
How often do we look for the 30,000 when God is giving us the 300? How many times have we sought the promotion and God gave us influence? How quickly do we assume a mountain and when God is saying mustard seed? Culture creates natural ways of thinking about success, prosperity and abundance, but God sees it so differently than we do. God sees victory with 300 men and Gideon, while Saul had 30,000, but who saw the victory?
Isaiah 55:9 reminds us “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts, says the Lord.”
When you are staying at home with the kids, know God is winning victories for those kids are getting your values instilled in them not the world’s. When you are working in that office, know that you are releasing into the atmosphere the spirit of Christ that is in you. When you are preaching to that congregation of few, know that you are seeding those who will seed others. When you are in medical profession and morale is low, know that you are not without hope, but you carry the God of hope. Or when you are a student in a classroom, know that God uses everything and wastes nothing.
We don’t always understand why we are where we are, but God is working all things out together for your good, for God is good. You shine and He will release the sound; you give and God will release the love; you watch and God will do the greater works. My friends, no situation is permanent, remember how far God has brought you and remember He is not done with you yet, or as my husband says, Be Patient God Is At Work!
